ULTIMATE INDEPENDENCE SLAM: The Nigerian Ultimate (Pro) Wrestlers Federation in conjunction with the Ultimate (Pro) Wrestling Promotion are set to organize a wrestling championship in Lagos tagged “Ultimate Independent Slam” at the National Stadium old basket ball court on the 12th of October in Lagos, the game was brought up to celebrate the country’s 54th year of independence.
Wrestlers, such as Power Lee, Powerful Okoko, Mr Shapman will star the event another fighter, Major Ariba says “Am 99 percent set and I want my fans to see and be ready to celebrate the 54th independence” also said jokingly that “bones will be broken”.

KESHI LIED: Ikechukwu Uche denied the claim that coach of the Super Eagles Stephen Keshi called him for the African Cup of Nations qualifier game against Congo but nevertheless will pray for the teams victory against Sudan.

WE MUST WIN: Prior to the game against Sudan Nigerian attacker Ahmed Musa says the Afcon qualifier tie in Khartoum is a win or burst thing and the dust must be settled with the maximum three points “We have 100 per cent what it takes to qualify for the (Africa Cup of Nations.) I see Nigeria winning by the
grace of God and through hardwork,”

UYO TO HOST EAGLES-SUDAN GAME
Confirmed by new Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick, Super Eagles will not play their second leg game against Sudan in Calabar but in Uyo the capital of Akwa Ibom state which has a capacity of 30,000. According to reports, the stadium is under 10 year maintenance agreement with the construction company that built it Julius Berger.
